WOF: Bitcoin is booming, what are your thoughts on cryptocurrencies and mining?

The main advantage is a huge reduction in fees, and easily sending money around the world. Again, news stories will say "it makes money untraceable" but that's all bull. Actually it's very traceable, making it much safer. Another advantage is that it becomes a world currency. Buy your Chicken McNuggets at the airport, then fly to another country buy a coffee. No exchange costs.

There are more advantages, but these are just a few.

So, basically, bitcoin will become a one world currency, ushering in the era of a one world government, and the mark of the beast will be your wallet address.

Crypto is Satan.

Watch "Money as Debt" on Youtube, and you'll understand that that we can't go on like this. Thus cryptocurrency is a lesser evil IMHO

Says to visit youtube video

Says article subject is lesser evil without explaining.

Poor quality shitpost. I give it a F/10.

People lose faith in US $. Banksters figure out methods of getting the public to invest in another ponzi scheme called "digital currency". They use the power of the internet to spread the message to invest, you can't just go buy the coins, you must mine them. In order to so that you have to buy equipment with your hard earned paper to invest in the digital ones. One keystroke on a computer and all your digital money is gone. My grandpa taught me all about banks, you may have heard of him.

I think that cryptocurrencies are generally a good idea, and I think they're here to stay and will catch on for various uses.

I think that Bitcoin is very flawed, which is why it will keep getting forked. Its inherent value is low, and comes from being first, not from being a good coin, and that's problematic. I can't tell how far it would go in terms of value, and it's possible that at some point it will become completely different but still retain the name and perhaps (or perhaps not) some compatibility with the old coin.

In any case, cryptocurrencies have so far proved to be a good way to make a quick buck, and since there are a lot of people who like that, I think they'll continue to thrive.

Personally I've done a bit of intermittent mining over the years, but most of my small amount of coins were embezzled in some way. Personally making money is not very high on my list of interests, but mining is at least a technically interesting way of making it, so I continue to toy with it occasionally. However, I never bought mining hardware, and my efforts are made on low end hardware, which is what I typically own.

No currency is here to stay.ww3 .is going to wipe capitalism off the face of the earth for good.the survivors will start over.and learn from the mistakes of the past.humans will finally unite for the survival of the species.I would like it to be in my lifetime.to bare witness to such a transformation .no more fighting over invisible lines on the ground,no more, religious entities to kill each other over.maybe we will even see a true leadership step up to guide us all into the future.

That is ,if anyone does actually survive.current leadership has shown ,they would rather destroy all ,leaving nothing for anyone rather than give up the power.

Sounds to me like a whole lot of BS on which some Tesla driving people will make a lot of money and get out quick, then it will all collapse with a massive scandal. In the meantime, a lot of the PC community have had to pay silly prices for hardware or miss out all together. Maybe the Chinese Government are behind it all ? Cynical ? Maybe.

My thoughts are, I should have gotten a Radeon RX480 when I was building my PC rather than going for a 460. Ridiculous.

How good is unsolicited financial advice given from a random person on the internet! Too easy. If I give you my PIN, can you just sort it all out for me too?

Did I tell you to follow it? I have explained in my previous posts. Never invest what you can't loose or what you don't understand.
