XE-A407 sharp cash register customer support tool error

Hello,

I purchased a sharp XE-A407 and ran some transactions on it. I backed up the transactions to the SD card per the instructions. When I try to upload the transactions using the Customer support tool software, I get the error 'fails in import.' The user guide only says to follow the instructions on the register for putting data on the SD card.

I tried using the customer support tool on another computer and got the same error. I can see the data on the card. I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice?
