XP sp2 repair

i have repaired my xp sp2 with installation Cd, but now all the icons on desktop are missing except my anti virus in task bar , but all the programes are there in add and remove tray and in programe folder in c drive
how i can bring my icon back and my bookmark items

Are you still logged into the User account that you used before?
Maybe check Users in Control Panel, just in case there's more than 1, (in this case you would need to logout and then log into your usual User account)

It is possible that you need to right click on the Desktop -> Properties -> Desktop -> Customize Desktop -> and then tick to enable some of the common icons
