CMH = CallMeHero.

Old CS nick from..... CS Beta4. God knows when that was. Used to play CS about 5 hours a day in cybercafes ($2 an hour, why not?), and I got so damn good that people in opposite teams would leave, which created number inbalances, which cause me to move to the opposite side, and cause that side to win, and vice versa.

Never had a game then which lasted more than half an hour for obvious reasons. And as usual, somehow everyone thinking anyone that good HAS to be a cheater, even though they know that AWPs are one shot kills, doesn't matter if they're right in front, or sniping from the edge of the map (ps: I don't know how often you use sniper rifles as shotguns, but I did. At the time, no "spray" from jumping around like a monkey)...

And one day, I fluked a game and killed all 10 players in the opposite team on my own, and everyone was calling me "Hero", and I renamed myself CallMeHero for the fun of it then. And I kinda reused it over and over, and its become my online nick from then.

Haven't played FPSs for 5-6 years now, and just picking up UT2k4 again. Single Player Masterful is just about the right difficulty for me now. Insta-gib game anyone?

Back in 93-94 in the earlier AOL days a bunch of us regulars in the Video Game Channel chat room formed a group called LNC - the Late Night Crew. Papa is my real middle name. There are still a few of us LNCs floating around out there, but since I am ALWAYS able to secure that name I keep using it. A google search returns hits exclusive to me.

My name doesn't mean anything, I just woke up one morning about 4 years ago and thought, "Hey! My online name should be MetalX!" I liked the sound of it so it stuck. Sometimes I change it to DarkmetalX if MetalX is taken. And just an extra tidbit... the X at the end is not one of those lame x's in names like xxOwNaGexx. It's part of the name.

My handle or screen name as been used since the CB (citizen band radio), then on BBS, Prodigy GAOL = GEO AOL, then DOS AOL, then Win AOL migrated over to the net in GAN 1991 so really since 1995 the name tipstir has come into play where I mostly help users like you here with solving your problems in both desktop, laptop, workstation, server, printers and networking in chat rooms and now in forums all over the world.

The avitar image you see to your left comes from a design I created during the 1991 based on GIGANTOR one of my favorite cartoons: Which I use as a trademark to my 60 Games Titles I use to create for children and miltary adults. WAS -Windows Arcade Series and Tracker Games more simulator games.

During the 1991 thru 2000 I've designed creative Windows Arcade Games and use AOL as conduit to access the internet.

Since 2004 I mostly program and create skin mods and mini utilities for GBPVR. Today I do skin mods for HAU MediaMVP and might do MediaPortal, CTPVR, and SAGETV as I am very busy now..

I write technical and reviews on software and hardware on epinions to help you the user out on what to get. So I see myself with a creative mind and a good heart. Just google my screen name you'll learn a lot about the tipstir me
