Its kind of a small pet peeve of mine to have numbers after my user names. In fact, I hate having numbers anywhere in the name at all! If I can, I'll use the user name, DaveSylvia. Dave is my first name and Sylvia my last. If I can't use that I'll use Davidual! That's pronounced like 'individual'. Hahaha silly I admit! If I can't use either name then....I don't know what I'd do!

Cirque du Soleil

Quidam: a nameless passer-by, a solitary figure lingering on a street corner, a person rushing past. It could be anyone, anybody. Someone coming, going, living in our anonymous society. A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority. The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all. This is the "quidam" that Cirque du Soleil is celebrating.

A young girl fumes; she has already seen everything there is to see, and her world has lost all meaning. Her anger shatters her little world, and she finds herself in the universe of Quidam. She is joined by a joyful companion as well as another character, more mysterious, who will attempt to seduce her with the marvelous, the unsettling, and the terrifying.

I did the show QUIDAM with Cirque du Soleil. It was loads of fun, and I really like the implications of the name. I played "Zoe" in the show.

I still have T shirt from the production.

What does your name mean?

I've seen some really cool and odd names on this website, and I was just wondering what some of them actually mean :suspiciou !

cfitzarl:

c = Chris
fitz = prefix of my last name
arl = Arlington, MA .... where I used to live

I think mine's pretty self-explanatory :D

I think I tried just kittycat when I registered, but somebody already had that name. So I added the 500 in the middle.

If I was registering today, though, I'd give myself a different name.

Ravi is my name
Sunny is my son's name

Too many Ravis around, so I appended my son's name to make it an unique username.

Wow supersmashbrada :D ! Everyone's name is interesting in my opinion...and I was just wondering what some of them meant :grinthumb !

Mine means beef jerky. I use the name for eveything because so few people would choose this as a name for there account. If I used my first name Charlie then I wouldn't have been able to register.

twite-means absolutely nothing. Haha. One day about 6 years back i decided to register a yahoo account under that name, and ever since then that has been my online alias. Twite actually happens to be a form of a finch, but i had no prior knowledge of that when registering.

"Will The Real JimShady Please Stand Up"

Well back in 98-99 I was a senior in high school, I used to be well known for getting into trouble pretty easy and getting out of it even easier. My friends knowing this (and after Eminem's first album: The Slim Shady LP was released, the song "My Name Is What" in particular) my friends started calling me Jim Shady. Of course my first name is Jim by the way :D And the 23 is how old i was when i joined this forum, im 27 now.

Noone calls me that in real life anymore however I stuck with it as my online name.

With that said I am the one and only "Real JimShady"

LoL

Route44 - This is for Route 44 that runs in northcentral Pennsylvania that takes you to some of the finest country and finest trout/bass streams in the nation. We've been going there for 40+ years.

Finchy.... Short for Fincham

My birth name Jonathan means 'gift from god' which is pretty cool, though most people probably think its a gift similar to a Creme Egg filled with Arsenic :D

(Hopefully) descended from the Lord's Fincham http://www.finchams.org
though I can only hope. Though i dont actually live in Norfolk

Nick = 4th generation first name
Slick = no idea why I chose this
74 = my birth year (no, not 1874!)

I've used this name for various email and screen names since 1997 when i got my first internet capable computer.

Rage: From the days I used to play Wolverine: Adamantium Rage on my Sega Genesis. I was obsessed with the game and I started using it as a nick everywhere and it's just stuck. One of my fave bands is also Rage Against The Machine, so I guess it's appropriate. :)
3K: Well since the Y2K bug wasn't such a big deal, I guessed the Y3K bug would have to be, provided I'm around to witness it! ;)
Moiz: My real name.

Acording to mom, my name means
"BOY! You're in trouble now!! Wait 'til your father gets home."

Masque...as in....

Masque of the Red Death. I liked the sound of it when I was looking for a name for the original Tribes. Kept it as an online name for most of my forums, including here.
