YouTube to bring back creators banned over Covid-19 and election claims, blames Biden administration for crackdown

The takeaway from this article is that conservative voices are responsible for misinformation, whether that's true in all cases or not. However, misinformation can happen from any side and if it's happening, it should be censored. It can result in actual deaths, death threats, and other misfortunes. There's a "free speech" aspect to this, for sure, but when those responsible for providing true, validated guidance especially when it comes to public health or your financial health and they have a legal and ethical responsibility to do so, per the oaths they took, that's not ok. I can discern between a Youtube personality spewing false claims pretty easily, but when you have a government doing it, that's a whole other matter. I don't pay taxes so that someone can mislead the public. I pay them to protect and serve the public.

I would like to see proof of this were not many of those people banned when trump was in office. Trump owns most of the response to Covid not Biden even though Biden seems to get all of the blame.

Not to mention his Operation Warpspeed with 40% excess deaths unseen by insurance companies except for 1 in 200 year cataclysmic events.

That would include the crazies pushing ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, right? Because those were very much part of these 'conservative' voices.
Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are actually tested and approved drugs and with known side-effects and application. Non consensual experimentation and coercion of such untested drugs on general population is a crime against the humanity. Whoever ordered it, I don't really care what they call themselves, they need to serve a long porridge, starting with a two weeks to flatten their curves....

The bottom line is, these are chameleons who'll change their tune to curry favour with whoever is in power.
Good point. And that means all media need to be critically examined for bias given the profit motive. We've moved beyond "if it bleeds, it leads" to "our wages depend on what enrages."

No ones even investigated all the times hospitals secured equipment and trumps people showed up and took it all for themselves and trumps raiding of national stockpiles. no one knows where any of that equipment went.
For example:
  • In April 2020, officials in multiple states and hospitals told news outlets, including the Los Angeles Times and The New York Times, that their orders for personal protective equipment (PPE) were intercepted by the federal government.
  • The supplies were reportedly seized or rerouted by FEMA, with little to no transparency about where the equipment was being sent.
  • Some officials expressed concern that the supplies were not being distributed equitably. For example, a Massachusetts state official stated that a vast shipment of PPE was taken over by the Trump administration.
  • Inventory claims: Trump frequently claimed that the Strategic National Stockpile had been left "bare" by the Obama administration. Fact-checkers noted this was misleading; while some supplies had been depleted after the H1N1 pandemic and not fully replenished, significant quantities of other supplies remained. The Trump administration also had three years to rebuild stockpiles before COVID-19

I've been a Youtubber for over 10 years. I have over 3000 videos.

Youtube's advertiser-friendly stance was always their way to keep content creators in line. Simply by claiming that the content wasn't friendly to advertisers they could demonetize and limit us.

I've made gun videos. How is it that a video showing the gun operation isn't friendly to gun manufacturers???

They've been throttling subscribers, views and our revenue sharing. I haven't complained - I just went along with it and kept doing my thing. I file 1099 as a journalist and get business tax deductions. I've rolled the Youtube money into Dividend stock portfolios and Bitcoin in order to maximize the money.

All the while, I've been absolutely disgusted by Youtube and praying for the day when some class action lawsuit breaks their control and their unfair practices.

Biden isn't to blame. Trump isn't to blame. They were doing this prior to 2010. I remember when Youtubbers kept claiming "youtube was dying" and were getting demonetization letters. I started learning what they meant later on. At one point I was making over $3000 a month. When my numbers started dipping, I started doing lives and getting cashapps and superchats to make up the difference. Youtube can screw with your subscribers, views and revenue but they can't hurt your cashapps or 3rd party payments.

It's really disgusting. Fortunately, I've built a huge retirement portfolio using them.
we all know it's down to ppl we never see... even here over at twitch ( I used to have a small channel ) if a mod don't like you... god forgive you'll get ban and anything that could cripple you will be used
