Back in the news again today, UK's NTL is beginning trials of ultra fast broadband next month that could provide speeds of up to 100Mb. The company is teaming up with US outfit ARRIS to run the trials, which could see the provision of new services such as super fast movie downloads, and other content, as well as security services such as closed circuit TV.
