Amid speculation that Sony could be moving to a single SKU world by discontinuing the 80GB version of its PlayStation 3 console (thus axing PS3 backwards compatibility altogether), the company has come out to dispel those rumors with a new 80GB PS3 bundle that will include the highly-anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

In addition to the game and system, the bundle will include a DualShock 3 controller which will bring back vibration force feedback to the PlayStation 3 controller. The bundle will be available in April and will retail for $499 - considering the 40GB model currently sells for $399 and Blu-ray's victory, that's a pretty good deal.
