MSI has developed a new website focused on their mobile products, such as netbooks, and announced its launch today. The biggest change of all is MSI's switch to an online ordering system, which they are still implementing. The end result will be the ability to order much of MSI's mobile line directly from them, as opposed to using a retailer.
Their entire hardware lineup won't be available, but all of their netbooks and netbooks will be, including the GT and Wind units. Given the site itself is called MSI Mobile, it's doubtful that you'll see other standalone parts like motherboards available, so they aren't cutting retailers completely out of the loop.
It doesn't sound like there will be any price advantage in ordering from MSI versus a retailer, but they are apparently committing to warranty and customer service directly through their site, which could be seen as a significant advantage.
