HP has quietly listed an updated version of the Mini 5102 business netbook on its Italian website. Since it's intended for professionals, the Mini 5103 offers a plethora of configurations compared to consumer-grade netbooks. Hardware options include an Intel Atom N455 or N475 processor, 1 or 2GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM, and a 160GB/320GB 7200RPM HDD or 80GB/128GB SSD.

The 10.1-inch display comes in standard and touchscreen flavors, while graphics are driven by Intel's integrated GMA 3150 with an optional Broadcom Crystal HD decoder chip. There's also a multitouch trackpad, a 2MP webcam, an SD card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA-out, 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, optional mobile broadband with GPS, and a four or six-cell battery.

The Mini 5103 will come with your choice of Windows 7 Starter/Home Premium 32-bit, SUSE Linux Enterprise 11, or FreeDOS. Pricing will start from €482, but you can expect that to soar quickly if you tack on extras like a solid-state drive or touch display. Exact availability isn't known, but the Mini 5102 has been yanked from HP's US site, suggesting that the 5103 is incoming.
