The Scythe Fuma 3 is a commendable upper mid-tier cooler that performs well, especially in scenarios where larger coolers won't fit or where more expensive AIOs might not be practical. As such, I consider it a cooler worth recommending depending on the situation.

You certainly get a lot of cooler for the cost with the Scythe Fuma 3. Along with a plethora of features and superb hardware, you get a dual-tower CPU cooling solution that fits where many others might not, but the performance isn't the best.
Yet again, Scythe delivers another great cooling product at a low price. It’s hard to believe you can get such a good CPU cooler at such a reasonable price. You get top cooling performance, good build quality, low noise operation, extended warranty, an additional option for a third fan (mounting kit included). It also offers good compatibility with a wide range of motherboards, RAM, and all modern desktop sockets.
When it comes to looks you don’t have anything super flashy here as there is no lighting on the cooler, but Scythe did update the cooler by adding some top caps which give it a more sleek look overall. Also since this cooler gives you 100% memory clearance if you have RGB memory you don’t have to worry about it being blocked by the front fan on the cooler.
Scythe Fuma 3 unfortunately fits into the grey average of coolers. Personally, I would not recommend it for processors with high heat output, so Intel i7 or i9 series processors are practically out of the question. However, for regular builds with mid-range Intel processors without an unlocked multiplier or for AMD Ryzen processors except for the highest end models, it will easily suffice.
