The Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro is an attractive, well-built low-profile gaming keyboard with plenty of features and connection options. But it’s kind of boring.

The DeathStalker V2 Pro is a beautiful keyboard let down by poor build quality. If this review was based solely on design then it would be a must have. Unfortunately though, I cannot look past the amount of flex in the chassis. A keyboard priced at £250 should feel much better.

This might be Razer's most interesting and satisfying keyboard to date. A low-profile keyboard with serious style, superb comfort and plenty of features too.

Lately, Razer’s keyboards feel like a mix and match of the same handful of features that we’ve seen on their older models, and the DeathStalker V2 Pro exemplifies this. Vendors like Corsair and Asus are busy pushing the envelope with keyboards that have modular profiles and hot-swappable switches, while it feels like Razer is content just phoning it in at this point. If Razer wants to charge $250 for a keyboard, it really needs to show up with something new.

The key action is responsive, it’s comfortable to use for long periods and there’s a lot to like about the slimline aesthetic. It might not be an entry-level purchase, but if you’re blessed with cash then you’ll struggle to find a gaming keyboard that’s as easy to recommend as the DeathStalker V2 Pro.
