In our review of the MacBook Pro 2018 13-inch, we lamented the fact that this year's model of the smaller MacBook Pro was a more iterative upgrade, rather than a dramatic leap forward. That wasn't the case with MacBook Pro 2018 15-inch.The MacBook Pro...
The introduction of the new AMD Radeon Pro Vega GPUs was a bit of a surprise, but the new GPU leaves a very good impression and turns out to be a good upgrade. You can expect about 20% less performance when you select the Vega 16 (20 vs. 16 compute...
The i9 MacBook Pro is a feat of engineering and design that Apple has carried forward for the last three models, but choices made at the inception of the line are echoing forward to today, cutting back a very little bit on what the computer could...
The MacBook Pro 2018 15-inch is a powerful pro notebook with a fantastic design. However, in its bid to appeal to the mass market, it might turn off some professionals.
The new 15-inch MacBook Pro is probably the most powerful laptop we've ever used. It can carry out tasks that would normally freeze up a normal laptop and the i9 core just takes the performance of the laptop to the stratosphere. It can last longer than 10 hours if you don't use it for editing videos/images and is capable of rendering 4K movies in under 10 minutes.

If you’re not a pro app user, work in iLife and internet apps, and bought a MacBook Pro within the last two years, you probably don’t feel compelled to upgrade. If you do, however, you could opt for the $2,399 15-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.2GHz Core i7 processor and be happy.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro delivers strong performance, fast storage and long battery life. But it's as expensive as ever, particularly if you want a roomy SSD. And we'd like more ports.
