The Scimitar Elite Wireless SE has a new sensor and better battery life, but the brand could have improved its physical design. Native Stream Deck integration is nice if you're in the Elgato streaming ecosystem — but if you are, you probably don't need 16 more buttons.

The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE feels made for streamers, but it's going to satisfy regular MMO players just as well. With a relatively low price, excellent battery upgrades and particularly easy-to-control side-buttons, this is a fantastic refresh of a much-loved line.

The Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is a well-constructed and well-designed MMO mouse. I do not make that statement lightly. As a long-time user of MMO mice going back to 2009, I’ve long been an advocate for mice like the original Naga and the many iterations and releases since. From Logitech’s G600 to SteelSeries Aerox 9, I’ve tested multiple mice built on the same principle as the Naga, with none coming close to my experience with Razer’s MMO Mouse.

The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE isn’t trying to be a jack-of-all-trades mouse. It’s a purpose-built product for MMO players as well as productivity users who want access to more controls with their right hand. While this won’t replace your lightweight FPS mouse, it also isn’t supposed to.

After years of using the G600, it’s hard to win me over. While I’m still using it on my desktop, I’ve finally found the wireless version I can take with me when I travel. The Scimitar Elite Wireless is comfortable, convenient, and brings all the power of my macros with me, without needing a bulky cord.

Overall, the Scimitar Elite Wireless has its faults, but I feel most of these can be forgiven. Of course, the Scimitar Elite Wireless also looks better simply by virtue of competition not being particularly fierce. The Razer Naga V2 Pro is undoubtedly the better mouse, but is even pricier at $179.99, and those who only want an MMO mouse likely aren't too interested in paying for the extra functionality offered by the Naga V2 Pro.

The Corsair SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS is an excellent mouse for MMO or MOBA gaming. It features a 12-button side panel that is back-and-forth adjustable to better suit your hand size and grip style for a more comfortable fit. It has excellent sensor performance and low click latency that is suitable for casual and competitive play.
