Roccat has packed the Roccat Kone XP Air with features you’ll be hard-pressed to find in its rivals, with its Easy-Shift functionality, long battery life, and a charging dock included in the box. It may not be among the cheapest of the 2022 releases, but it’s definitely among the best value.

Roccat has made a decent mouse, but at the end of the day, it’s nothing special. The docking station and customizable buttons are great, but the overall build quality and garbage software make this a disappointing outing for something priced this highly. There are better wireless mice and there are definitely better mice overall if you’re willing to give up on the wireless dream.

All in all, the Roccat Kone XP Air is a good fit for a dedicated player ready to make full use of the buttons, but perhaps a tad oversaturated for more casual users, although for looks alone it's worth checking out if you're on board with the price point. Charging is a little silly, but there's an easy method provided alongside the more complicated suggestion, so that shouldn't cause any major issues.

The combination of a wireless connection, RGB, a charging dock, and a total of 29 programmable functions make the Kone XP Air a great multi-purpose mouse for different genres of games as well as productivity. Hardcore FPS players will probably want to shed the weight, but that’s not really the intention of the Kone XP Air.
