In almost every way the BenQ SW321C is an exceptional monitor, the size, price and uniformity all make it an ideal choice for studio photography. The size alone gives you plenty of flexibility when editing, and it’s nice to have so much space for both the pallets and the image you’re working on. The biggest benefit is being able to see the image at almost 1:1 as this enables you to fine-tune the editing to get the best possible results.

While it may not quite offer the same bang per buck as its smaller 27-inch SW271 sibling, the SW321C is a superb monitor for image editing. It's image quality is near-faultless, offering wide color space coverage and exceptionally accurate color reproduction. It's not the brightest display on the market, but for serious photo editing, that's not an issue. If you must have a 32-inch display over the equally impressive 27-inch SW271, you won't be disappointed by the SW321C.

Based on my tests, the new BenQ SW321C is extremely impressive, particularly when you factor in price. Across colour, sharpness, resolution and interface, it compares admirably with an EIZO monitor that costs twice as much.

The BenQ PhotoVue SW321C is a decent monitor that offers a lot for its price. With Apple’s Studio display being a literal ripoff, and ProDisplay XDR offering an improvement not proportional to the price increase, this monitor might be one of the best options to consider. This is one of the best monitors in the BenQ lineup, which puts it in the $2,000 price range. This monitor is more of an investment aimed at people who appreciate a good monitor and use their computers for a bit more than watching Netflix.

The new BenQ SW321C is undoubtedly a monitor that many photographers have been waiting for. Finding another 32″ 4K panel of such quality and features at this price is virtually impossible. A clean, slim design makes it perfect for any desk, and thanks to the new technologies implemented, spending hours in front of the monitor is not at all tiring for the eyes.

BenQ has created a beautiful flagship display that takes the worry out of your monitor solution. Gone are the worries about color accuracy. The worries about missing detail due to screen glare. The worries about uniformity or viewing angles. The SW321C just delivers. It might not be flashy, but it works to perfection. The ideal of a tool that works as transparently as possible to deliver the goods without getting in between you and your digital images.

In many ways, I’m not challenging the performance of this monitor, however the key areas that matter to me are the quality of the image displayed, and its accuracy, and there it does well.

Professionals ll not hesitate to buy this monitor if they’re in need for a new new monitor for their professional photo or video-editing.
