Alienware’s $699 AW3226Q finally makes OLED feel like a no-brainer for both work and play. Its gorgeous 32-inch 4K Tandem OLED panel delivers stunning colors, deep blacks, and fantastic gaming performance, while the new RGB-stripe subpixel layout fixes the distracting text fringing that’s long plagued OLED monitors. Sure, 165Hz won’t satisfy hardcore esports junkies, and the connectivity is pretty bare-bones. But Alienware made the right compromises in the right places. This is the first OLED monitor I’d happily stare at all day for work, then fire up games on all night. And at $699, that’s a remarkable achievement — and it looks stunning in action.

The Alienware AW3226Q is a fantastic 4K OLED monitor that makes tandem technology feel affordable. Its colour accuracy, contrast and text clarity are all excellent, and the OSD is one of the best around. A 165Hz refresh rate, modest port selection and limited stand adjustment hold it back slightly against dearer rivals.

The 32-inch Alienware AW3226Q gaming monitor is an excellent value, delivering exquisite 4K image quality and the latest OLED technology for less than you might expect.

By PCMag on October 15, 2026

Aside from a lack of practical gamma adjustments, the Alienware AW3226Q delivers a bright, colorful, and razor-sharp image. With solid game performance and even more solid value, it’s an attractive choice.

The AW3226Q is another example of Alienware making well judged compromises to hit a price. Competitive gamers may baulk at the relatively low 165Hz refresh rate, but it’s a great compromise for almost everyone else. Given a choice between slightly improved motion clarity and a vastly more vivid, intense and impressive image, I think most of us will choose the latter.
