The MSI MAG281URF is an excellent 28″ 4K 144Hz 1ms IPS gaming monitor with a wide color gamut, VRR and MBR support. However, unless you find it on a huge sale, there are some better alternatives at this price range.

The MSI MAG281URF is one of the first 2022 4K displays with gaming capabilities. It has some crisp images and good warm colors out of the box. This is the screen to get if you want a fast refresh rate and high visual quality. It’s also the one I suggest for this category of panels. However, it does have some steep prices to make up for its high-end features.

That said, 4K gaming on the MSI Optix MAG281URF is awesome. Granted, our testing was carried out on a GeForce RTX 3080 powered rig so DLSS enabled titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Ghostwire: Tokyo, DOOM Eternal, Ghostrunner, and more looked, performed, and played brilliantly. When it comes to PC gaming a quality display should be high-up on the list, and if you’ve got a rig capable of hitting high frame-rate 4K action across competitive titles and more cinematic offerings, well, the MSI Optix MAG281URF is a great choice.

It's a little expensive, but it's easy to use with USB Type-C and USB hub while having high definition with 4K / 144Hz drive with RAPID ISP panel and response speed of 1ms (GTG), high image quality and gaming level performance. Considering that it also has goodness, it may be appropriate.
