Xiaomi aimed high with the 11T Pro, but didn't quite reach its target. The phone has plenty going for it, such as a gorgeous display, top performance, and blazing fast charging, but the cameras are middling and there are several missing features that hurt its overall appeal. An admirable attempt at balancing price and quality, the 11T Pro tips slightly in the wrong direction when stacked against tough competition.
Our editors hand-pick these products using a variety of criteria: they can be direct competitors targeting the same market segment or can be similar devices in terms of size, performance, or features.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is a good-value 5G phone with a top-end processor. It displays a decent spread of abilities across gaming, video streaming and the camera hardware. The photos it captures are a little inconsistent, and the design could be mistaken for that of a much cheaper Xiaomi, but there’s enough substance to make up for it.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is another reassuringly capable Xiaomi phone for a highly competitive price. It’s fast, has a solid main camera, a fine display, and outstandingly rapid charging for a reasonable price. However, it’s not without its shortcomings. MIUI is as busy as ever, the camera isn’t as well rounded as we would have liked, there’s no wireless charging, and the design isn’t especially appealing.
This sub-flagship brings together some strong specification in a well-performing package with a lovely screen and super-fast charging to boast about too. There are some software irks, the build is chunky and, on reflection, we think the 'non-Pro' variant is an even better buy. That said, however, this 11T Pro is more than capable of giving prospective OnePlus 9 buyers something else to seriously consider.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is pretty much the complete package. Despite a few stumbles along the way, most notably with regards to battery life and some inconsistent performance figures, Xiaomi’s newest flagship killer is still a force to be reckoned with. There’s more than enough here to keep Xiaomi firmly in the spotlight for at least a little while longer.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro comes at a very competitive price, with a camera array, chipset and charging speed that are impressive for a mid-range phone, and it would be easy to recommend if it wasn’t for a few minor issues. The device gets hot easily, is quite big, picks up fingerprints readily on the rear, has a few too many software bugs. It’s still a worthy addition to the Mi 11 lineup, though the standard 11T is more.

The 11T Pro starts at 649€ - it’s a much better device, but its pricing isn’t quite as aggressive as what I had expected from Xiaomi. For only around 50€ more, you can get the Mi 11, which has a much nicer screen, better camera, and although you lose a bit on battery life, it’s a very hard choice to make. There is also the Mi 11i, a phone that is essentially identical to the 11T Pro and comes in at 599€. Xiaomi here is its own toughest competitor in terms of price and value, so I wonder why they felt the need to make the 11T Pro, besides for showcasing 120W charging.
