Benchmarks: Deus Ex, Hard Reset
With an average of 66fps in Deus Ex: Human Revolution at 2560x1600, the HD 7970 was 35% quicker than the HD 6970 and 43% faster than the GTX 580. The GTX 590 and HD 6990 fared about 12% and 16% better at extreme resolutions, but interestingly, the HD 7970 faced little opposition at the top of our 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 graphs.
When testing Hard Reset at 2560x1600, the HD 7970 churned out 42% more frames than its predecessor 16% more than Nvidia's equivalent. Furthermore, it was 5% faster than the HD 6990 and only 10% slower than the GTX 590.
