Well, what exactly is your budget for the PC? I would recommend building one yourself.

Does the above build include a monitor?

Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz - $199.99
ASUS P7P55D LGA 1156 Intel P55 - $149.99
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 - $85.99
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W - $99.99
Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB - $74.99
XFX Radeon HD 4870 1GB - $139.99
COOLER MASTER RC-690 - $69.99
If he needs an OS, use the same build except with a Phenom II X3 720 and compatible motherboard, and maybe a 4850. That would leave you with an extra $100 or so.

yes, good points HK. I can't believe Ritwik7, the Prophet of X3 720, didn't suggest this. :D

Hey, I completely forgot about the OS! If that's a consideration, then its got to be the X3 720 along with the ASUS M4A78T-E. Also the PSU should then be changed to the Corsair 450VX. That would be about 130 bucks less than the previous build. Would that be enough for the OS?

I can't believe Ritwik7, the Prophet of X3 720, didn't suggest this. :D

I just did in fact. But in this thread. :D
