F.E.A.R. Multiplayer to be made available for free.
08-08-2006 - Sierra Entertainment today announced that the multiplayer component from the award winning PC title F.E.A.R.™ (First Encounter Assault Recon), has been renamed F.E.A.R. Combat, and will be made available to the public as a free download on Thursday August 17th, 2006.

Cool!
But please name your topic so it can be found. I've been
trying to find a thread called F.E.A.R. but I've only found
different posts about it that should be in a single thread.

I've played F.E.A.R. Combat a couple of times now. I've never played
the F.E.A.R. demo and this release seems to be a way to have more
customers. Anyway, I really appreciate it and I got caught

yup

i was downloading it yesterday at 50kb/s and when it was about 90 % done I hit the cancel button...:blackeye:
one thing I dont get is that I tried registering to get the free cd key , I completed step 2 of 3 and it took me back to step 1

Downloading it now. But the (official) bittorrent release is a bit slow. Im downloading at 18KB/s. The other links seems to be overloaded lol.

@Blue_dragon, if you don't get your cd key, try using the "forgot my key" link. This works apperently
