At idle, most system configurations consumed less than 100 watts, with the HD 7970 being the only exception. Under load, we see that the GTX 660 Ti SLI setup is by far the most power hungry, chugging 27% more than the HD 7850 in Crossfire and 31% more than the GTX 680. Conversely, compared to the HD 7970, the 7850s used 11% less power.
