Open
your cfs2.cfg (Located in the root Directory where CFS 2 is installed)
& Edit the following lines under
the [MAIN] heading;
Showlogo=x.
Set x to 0 to disable the Intro movie when loading CFS 2,
this will give the fastest load time. When set to 1 the Intro movie will
be played.
ShowMovie=x.
When this is set to 1 movies will be displayed, e.g. the Intro movies to
campaigns (Although text is displayed beneath & audio is played as per
usual). When set to 0 the movies will not be displayed, although text
beneath them can be seen as normal. This may be of use to those who do not have
the correct video decoders installed. Should you encounter problems with movie
playback try setting x to 0 until you have the latest video codecs
installed. Installing Windows
Media Player 7 should fix this problem as it installs the appropriate codecs
used.
HideMenuNormal=x.
A value of 1
for x will hide the in-game menu (Flights, Aircraft, etc.)
when in windowed mode. Pressing the ALT key display this menu if you need
to access it. A value of 0 for x enables the display of the
in-game menu by default when in windowed mode.
HideMenuFullscreen=x.
A value of 1
for x will hide the in-game menu (Flights, Aircraft, etc.)
when in full-screen mode. Pressing the ALT key display this menu if you
need to access it. A value of 0 for x enables the display
of the in-game menu by default when in full-screen mode.
Maximized=x.
A value of 1 for x starts CFS 2 in full-screen mode. You should
set it to 1 if you are using 3D accelerated rendering. 0 will
start CFS 2 in windowed mode, pressing ALT – ENTER will toggle
full-screen mode on/off.
