Hardware acceleration.
Should you experience strange Audio playback (e.g. incorrect
audio positioning or volume levels) set this to Disabled,
otherwise leave this set to Enabled to allow for full
DirectSound hardware acceleration of Audio playback. If you
are experiencing such positioning/volume errors, try
updating your Soundcard Driver if at all possible to fix
this.
EAX. Setting this
to Enabled will enable the use of EAX in Operation
Flashpoint with supported Soundcards, this allows for
enhanced audio effects such as Reverb, although performance
can be reduced as a result. Set this to Disabled to
disable EAX support for optimal performance.
Voices. This
setting controls the number of simultaneous voices that can
be played back during the Game. If you have any sort of
remotely new Soundcard you should be able to set this to All
without issue.
