Before I proceed, I need feedback on Steps 1-4.
Step 1: Antivirus scanning I ran AVIRA which took 22 mins.
Firewall I ran COMODO but cleared after 2 hrs and still running. Did I do the right thing?
Step 2: CCleaner I ran and rec'd the following message--IE cannot download download.pap from techspot.com
Step 3: Temp Disable OK all disabled.
Step 4: Malwarebytes' I ran it took 8 mins but didn't prompt me to the next steps. So I tried again and rec'd the message IE cannot download mbam.setup.exe from malwarebytes.org
Does IE (internet explorer) need to be installed when I have AOL?
