Acer Aspire One touchy touchpad

I have an acer aspire one D-150 netbook running XP. Works great, but it has a touch pad with a mind of its own since I got it. Sometimes, when rolling over buttons, etc., it operates and i wind up clicking on something i didn't intend. Anyone else having this problem? If so, any advice to fix?

Go to Acers support webpage and download and install the touch-pad driver for your model laptop

You might look into Windows Update under hardware too. it is usually called Synaptics Touchpad update

Are you sure you don't have "Tap to Click" enabled as an option in the Mouse category under the Control Panel? This sounds like a similar behavior.
