After installing "radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-19.7.3-minimalsetup-190725_64bit" games like command and conquer generals stopped working with a retro popup "ensure you have directx 8.1 or later installed".
confirmed still have dx12 installed using dxdiag.. if I roll back to 19.7.2 these games work again.
I have w10 64bit with vega56 gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 and stock ryzen 1700.
Big question is What else can this release break and is there an easy workaround (other than sticking to 19.7.2).
Yes I still like playing command and conquer ... and team fortress 2 even though my old clan have gone and must be grandparents by now
