On my network all of our computers connect fine with Ethernet and wireless when applicable. However one of my roommates came back from a trip and now he cant connect to the network wirelessly.
I hooked it up with my Ethernet cable and he could get on but only then. I tried ipconfig/release/renew and it wouldn't give him a new address. I looked at the current address it gave him and it was one outside of the pool IE 192.168.28.xxx rather than 192.168.1.xxx. Right now it says it sees teh network but only locally. Any suggestions; he is using Vista for OS reference?
