Ok now i have got a intel base system.

I want to see what i could get for a amd system for £630.

Once i have chousen a amd system i will post both Intel based system and the Amd based system for you guys to compare.

After you guys have compared each system i will ayansily the good points and the bad points of each system and make a purchase.

Before i do this can any one recomend a amd based system for £630.

I am going to be using the pc for:

Hd video editing
Music editing
Photo editing and a bit of gaming.

are you asking or saying you cant?
if you cant, whats your online retailer of choice?

well that is a solid build for what you want to use it for. if you need to scale it back, the Athlon II x2 550, The Athlon II x3 4xx,or the Athlon II x4 6xx would be good choices as well

Things are more expensive in your neck of the woods, this is 575.00 quid, are you using any components from your current machine?
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/218937 84.00
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/172684 117.00
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/222051 145.00
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132563 77.00

Here are the two components i would change:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/193713 61.00
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=37609 91.00[

i dont need a 1TB hard drive.
Instead i will go for a http://www.ebuyer.com/product/150246 £45
Also the ram is only 1333MHz.

So the system would be £514 + £44 for a case = £603

You can spend the £27 on something else or add the £27 to a compononent

you can spend more on faster ram if you wish, but remember that its a weakest link scenario. you are not going to notice a difference with 1600 memory.

For 27 quid you can throw a DVD/CD drive in there if you need one

IDK how you squeezed an i750 and a 5770 into your last potential build, but I certainly would go with the i750 over the phenom II x4.

I don't think its worth it the i750 build was better.

AMD build would be similar, but with different (but very similar) RAM modules, since those particular GSkill ripjaws actually seem to have some issues with non-p55 or x58 boards I think it was.
You would have a Phenom II X4, and compatible motherboard with it, like red1776 posted. Thats all.
