AMD chiplet apu?

Hi I have wonder why amd does not using chiplet apu on 3200g and 3400g ???

Can someone find official statement or the answer why amd does not build apu with chiplet cpu ryzen 2+chiplet apu navi???

Thanks in advance

Keep up the good work everybody!!! :)

Just like AMD's laptop generation being 1 year behind in technology used, so are APU's. We should see Zen 2 and Navi on an APU chip next year.

It's likely to be about how to position everything within the AM4 platform module:

Ryzen 2500G:

Ryzen 3900X:

Space would be tight on the Zen 2 layout to have big Vega chip in there, but drop a chiplet and there could be room for a little Navi chip. Given that it's only just launched, it makes sense that AMD will be waiting a while before refreshing their APU line.
