AMD has finalized its Catalyst 11.10 drivers, which have been available in some form of hotfix or preview download since late September. Although today's release notes don't seem to mention any raw performance boosts, previous iterations brought various improvements to Battlefield 3 and Rage, so you should stand to gain those increases if you're upgrading from Catalyst 11.9 or earlier. Besides the ambiguous speed boosts, Catalyst 11.10 totes a handful of new features and a slew of bug fixes.

Eyefinity now supports 5x1 display (portrait and landscape) configurations when using Radeon HD 5000 or 6000 series cards, the maximum resolution for HD 6000 series cards has been raised to 16,000 x 16,000 pixels in DirectX 11 apps, and bezel compensation is now available when using monitors with different pixel densities. AMD has also tweaked its Vision Engine Control Center and Catalyst Control Center with interface enhancements on the CrossfireX, GPU Overdrive and Information Center pages.

Mobile: Windows Vista/7 32-bit | Windows Vista/7 64-bit

AMD has also resolved corruption problems with certain OpenGL games such as Enemy Territory Quake Wars. Lost Planet 2's benchmark no longer crashes randomly, F1 2010 and Dirt 2 shouldn't experience random flashing in-game anymore, Mafia II doesn't quit mid-load when playing with Crossfire, random crashes with Homefront have been resolved, and Unigine Heaven's performance should be more stable when running in DirectX 11 mode with multiple graphics cards. There are also various other fixes for crashes, corruption and other issues related to M2V/MPEG2/MPEG4 playback, video playback on a 120Hz display, and Windows' Aero interface. You can read the full release notes on the download page.

Installing now - let's hope everything keeps functioning and things having issues get better.

Installed it. Deferred AA performance still sucks in BF3 but it looks fine without AA so it's no problem.

This fixes all the issues I had and doesn't seem to break anything else. Good set for me this time. Haven't gone through all my games yet but looks good so far.

RAGE popin textures problem 100% resolved here.

dual 5770 crossfirex, they completely disabled crossfire support as far as I can tell, and im only using the 11.10 preview 3, I haven't installed the 11.10 final yet, I'll do it this morning.

Dude that might be your PSU - same thing was happening to me. Turns our my PSU was too inefficient. Unless you just have an older card - AMD and Nvidia don't really care about squashing bugs on the older cards.

Nope. It still crashes every 10-15 minutes

I would be looking into the fact this may be happening because of a problem that can't be fix with just a driver update, from the sounds of it you maybe getting an overheating issue or as stated you PSU is not providing enough power to your GPU and causing strain that will over heat the graphics card.

11.10's are good. I've got a Phenom II 965 and a 5770 Vapor-X and I did see a noticeable increase in Battlefield 3 performance.

After installing 11.10 as soon as the Catalyst Control Center loads my Desktop turns black w/ brown lines and needs a hard restart. Had to roll back the drivers to 11.3 to work. Using a Sapphire 5770.
