Annoying "chkupd" error messege that wont go away..

  1. Hi newbie here..

    Can someone please help me with this..for almost a year I have been unable to remove this annoying messege every time I boot up my computer. I have ie9 and Windows 7. I have tried to clean cookies/defrag/use CC cleaner/Malwarebyte/and ofcourse virus check as well....its still does not go away..sometimes it re-surfaces 4-5 times without rebooting.

    Please, observe following rules:

    Download Autoruns for Windows:
    No installation required.
    Simply unzip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
    Go File>Save, and save it as AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
    You must select Text from drop-down menu as a file type:

    Hi Broni-

    thanks for the fast reply..ok so I downloaded the prog and deleted everything highlighted in yellow that said "file not found"...the list was extensive but I guess I am only to delete the "file not found" ones right ?
