Apple Mac Tower

Well if I had a old apple I would surely send it to you. But as I said before I come across mostly PC. mainly old emachines. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Bummer, I'm certain with a bit of effort you could have gotten a PATA/IDE hd for free. Then for $10, OS X 10.4. The system would have been pretty slow for daily use, but you can't beat the price.

I hesitate to encourage you to pursue anything that is PowerPC based, simply because if you have to spend more than $10 to get it running it probably isn't worth it. Software compatibility is lessening every day. Unfortunately, that requires an Intel based Mac for any further Mac pursuits. Those have extremely high resale values for the hardware capabilities. Which is going to put everything out of the price range for a PC user that wants to dabble in Macs.

I uinderstand. I wanted to get it up & running just so I could experience it,but instead I'm keeping the Mac KB & HP mouse that both work on my W7. I might keep the monitor for "other" reasons, not pc related.:)

Well, just so you'll know. The owner picked it up yesterday. I kept the KB,HP mouse & power cord from it.
As I was joking with him as he took it, I told him its the first Apple I've ever had that didn't rot over time.:D
