Apple's 12" MacBook is all-new: Retina, fanless, full-sized keyboard, 1x USB-C port for everything

It will be able to charge off the display that it is connected to. The charging connector is USB-C which can supply up to 100w of power. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a charging cable with connectors on it for all of the other ports. Like a hub build into your charger, or at the very least, someone is going to create a hub that you can plug your charger into before it goes into your mac.

Really Apple...one port? And then you come selling pricey adapters so we can resolve our one port issue !!! (n)
the greatest thing about a free market economy is that you are free to not purchase it if it doesn't suit your needs or wants. One practiced, any one can do it. I continuously, day after day, do not buy things that don't suit my needs or wants.

Do you run OS X/have an Apple product? I'm sure the answer is no.

Here is the deal man. You are going to ***** about Apple because its trendy and because there are a lot of Apple haters on this site. You ***** about the various ways Apple doesn't fit the 'PC' realm of what should be included. You, and a lot of this site, are exactly why there have been years of that same response, news articles about it..

The thing is, you just simply don't get it. Mac users aren't 'sheep', they just want something that works, with minimal user input. While a lot of us are people that build our own PCs and try to squeeze out maximum performance... people that use Apple products are a different breed, its just different stuff man.

Think about this man, how often do you see apple laptops? Ok got that in your mind... next question... how many of them had things tethered to them? What were those devices?

There is no need for 48 expansion/connectivity slots anymore, this isn't 1997 man.
