Are these good specs for a Gaming PC

Those are good specs for a gaming machine. You should be able to play most games at max settings with the hardware you chose. However, I would recommend dropping the motherboard for a cheaper one. I say this because, you could easily get away with something like the AsRock Z170-K ($138.00) or the AsRock Z170 Pro4 ($117.00) and use the money saved to grab an SSD, such as the Samsung 850 Pro 256gb ($139.00).

Picking up the SSD would be a much better addition to your build than a higher-end motherboard with features you'll likely not going to miss.
