I can't find anywhere what happens if you stick a Ryzem 2400g into a non updated A320M motherboard. Can I at least boot so I can update the bios? Does the PC doesn't even turn on? What happens?
You answered a question I didn't ask. Please refrain from posting again.I'm not even go there with you, if you can't read, then trouble shoot it on your own.
Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for. I've also confirmed 100% that this mobo in specific won't post.Does your Asrock A320M support bios updates without a CPU installed? If not then like Maiku said, you will need an old/compatible AMD cpu other than Ryzen 2400g to be able to update. You could probably ask your local store to do that for you assuming you're buying both components from them.

As to what would happen if you did try, you'll likely end up with a blue screen and a hear a continuous beep. This was my experience on an Intel build. I don't see it being any different to AMD.
