ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 ROG Strix Gaming

Hi! So I bought ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 ROG Strix Gaming to boost my fps in games and when I am recording. But even in csgo my fps is between 190-230fps.. thats without OBS in the background. the day I got the new card I cleaned all harddrives and installed windows. and all that stuff. I was pretty hyped when I started csgo, but no changes in fps. is this a commen thing with the 1070? I have tried many things to incrase my fps, but nothing seems to help..

My specs
CPU - AMD FX-8350
RAM - HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz 16GB
Motherboard - Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
Graphics - 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Monitor - BenQ XL2411Z (1920x1080@144Hz)

Hope someone have some answers

@brutaldoomfan92 is right. I bought an RX 480 when my 6970 just wouldn't cut it anymore and noticed much better performance in the same games when I move to a Ryzen 1700X. That poor 8350 just can't hack it, I had the same CPU.

Also get yourself HWiNFO64, no 1070 has 4GB of VRAM.
