Audio From Asus 9800GTX+Darkknight to Sony Bravia KLV-32V300A

Hi im trying to get the audio on my P.C to work through the speakers on my Sony Bravia is this possible ? i have tried HDMI Cable from the graphics card to the HDMI on the Sony, But only recieves video not audio , and tried DVI to Sony, any help would be appreciated thanks

u need a SPDIF cable, usually included in the card's box along with instructions on where to place it. one side on the card and other side on your soundcard

My P.C has no internal soundcard its chipset, So there is a placing on the motherboard for spdif so this is applicable? and link to graphics card via wiring,

thats weird, my 9600M GT transport sounds and images to the Samsung LCD TV thru the HDMI.

if you;re using vista, make sure u set the HDMI to the default, though. otherwise it wont sound.
if xp, in control panel, the default device would have to be HDMI.

lastly, the nvidia hdmi settings must not be altered from default. hope this helps.
