I'm loving the beta.
Long time player. BF 1942, BF2, BF2021, BFBC, BFBC2, and now, BF3 beta.
I'm really looking forward to purchasing this on PS3. Sadly, I do not have a computer that would even come close to playing it. However, I'm quite satisfied with the beta and expect the full ver. to be even better.
As far as game play there is only two things that come to mind...
The "Kill Cam" - I hate it. I feel it robs the game of the more realistic feeling. Personally, I don't really need it to find where I'm getting killed from. Battlefield awareness goes a long way. But then again I am a vet. heh
The tact lights are over powered. I'm also prior 11B and still collect/shoot/secure in my civilian life and while they are awesome in the game CQB the fact that I am blinded by one in a virtual world of 100ft is, again, unrealistic. Which, may I ad, that I find that in BF3, you CAN USE TACTICS that you would use IRL.
I was really enjoying BFBC2 on PS3 before I started having serious issues with server reliability and and lag issues.
OH, the inability to "mute" a player.
And, of course, the falling through the map places will be fixed surely, right?
As I said, I've really been enjoying the beta. It shouldn't take me or anyone else in the community to point out the flaws that need fixed in the final ver. I'm sure, again, these will all be squared away.
Add me on PS3 if you wish. HHWulf
