Beeps on start

I got 4 beeps on start up. so I removed 1 stick of Ram and now I get 1 beep on start up which makes me think it's the video but it's using on board graphics . so does that mean it's screwed?
It's a Dell Inspiron 530. Thx for the help

One beep is normal... Do you get any video at all? If you get normal video, 1 stick of ram might be bad

Did you swap out the memory?

I did swap the ram with the same problem, I'm just going to trash the mobo and start over .
