Best 1TB External with USB/Firewire

There are so many mixed reviews when it comes to hard drives. I am looking for a terabyte with firewire and usb.

Another question is how do i tell if my computer handles FireWire 400 or 800? Or will it do both?

yea. looks the the newer version of the one I bought last year. I only use the USB 2.0 connection so take a close look at it's Firewire if there's anything in particular you require from it

Also note the drive comes formatted FAT32. If all the devices you will connect it to support NTFS (e.g. they're all computers vs game boxes) you can reformat to NTFS
