Best free email client?

Hi all
I'm having a lot of issues with Mozilla Thunderbird and wondered whether anyone could recommend a good free email client that can cope with around eight email accounts.
Preferably simple, as that's what I love about Thunderbird.
Oh, and NOT Outlook Express.

I've been using TB with five email addresses: two for roadrunner.com and three for gmail.com
