Blue screen, NOT BSOD

Never heard of that. CD-R, write once, and that's it, is my understanding. Think track at once option when burning data will allow adding more data in the future, but that's not done w/ ISO.

I mainly use CD-RW, so that I don't end up w/ a bunch of coasters. It'd be less headache to get a pack of CD-RW. 5-pk is $6 at Target.

I don't use CD's much anyhow & I just formatted the CD/R so I need a free program to download to use to burn the image to it. I don't trust my judgement here https://www.techspot.com/downloads/ thank you.

Seems like a common problem w/ Power2Go, but solution varies from user to user.

One suggestion that appeared numerous times is burn at a lower speed, instead of max. Maybe give that a try and see what happens. Hope you got some RW discs. Or you'll end up w/ a coaster if it fails.

Haven't had the need to get new ones. Are CD-RW discs that rare nowadays? Drug stores used to carry it, might still do.

I've been to target, radio shack, Home Depot, rite aid, Fred Meyer , Safeway , albertsons & even a dollar store but none so far. Going to check a few more stores today & will ask some friends. They must be rare

Or try buy online, pick-up in store, if available and save yourself so time. Shipping is typically free for ship-to-store option. Same day pick-up might even be available.

You shouldn't need to. See post #36, use Windows' build-in.
Ok, did as said & I'm looking at a folder with EFI under it then a folder showing isolinex under it, a picture with right top corner turned down showing efiboot, next to that it shows guide, license with top right corner turned down & arc.tgz with top right corner turned down.
I downloaded me test to my desktop, should I of downloaded it to the CD-ROM instead?

Looks like you extracted the files from the ISO. Follow Leeky's instructions from post #4. Once you've extracted the ISO & Readme files from zip, burn the ISO file to CD.

From the Readme file:

Creating a bootable CD
========================================
Use the CD burning software available on your system to create a CD-ROM using the the ISO
image. Be sure that you create a CD image from the ISO file rather than placing a copy of
the ISO file onto a data CD. Look for “Burn Image from File” or similar option under the
File menu of your CD burning software. In version of Windows starting with Vista you should
be able to right click the ISO file and select the "Burn disc image" option.

Some unzip software is capable of extracting the contents of ISO files. If you see a folder
named ISOLINUX then you have extracted the ISO file. This is not what you want to do.

I am sooo confused right now, with NO disc of any kind in the drive, it still shows the images of post #69 in there, how?
I have downloaded the memtest to my desktop, but that is as far as I've gotten. Will try to post a screenshot.
