BSOD after a bump

Hello.. i am new here.. and i have a Dell laptop Inspiron 8600 and a couple months ago a child at my home hit the back side of the screen while it was open with the back of a nerf gun! It went to BSOD right then and it will not even go into safe mode now, i tried doing searches and found this, hoping maybe someone has an idea. The kid was 5, so not sure how hard he hit it.. hoping its just an error that can be fixed... thanks for any help and advice.

EDIT.. BSOD also says "Unmountable Boot Volume".... not sure what that means

Unmountable Boot Volume

1. There could have been damage to the file system or physical damage to the harddrive itself.

2. The harddrive could have been "unmounted" and thus needs to be reset into place.
