I am getting a BSOD since with the event id 1001 and description as :- "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x40000080 (0x84ef46b0, 0x846d2b48, 0x842f7544, 0x00000002). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP."

And the reboots are random. No specific time intervals.

All Minidumps point to slnt.sys, which is a Silan 10/100M Network Driver

You should update your drivers from your Manufacture website
Hmm. Update to SP3 as well. Its been out a while now, all is good :)
Maybe run a full updated AntiVirus scan first ;)

well thnx for the prompt reply n help. I tried uninstalling the NIC and reinstalled it. Tried another slnt.sys file but I'm still getting the BSOD. By the way how do we figure out from the dump file, which file is causing the BSOD?? Help much appreciated.

I added the fresh minidumps as well.

Thank you

Thank you Kimsland for your prompt and helpful reply. Well I downloaded new drivers for the ethernet card but I was getting the same BSOD. As the ethernet card was still in warranty, I managed to get a replacement for it. The new ethernet card is working properly so far and no BSODs as yet. Thank you.
