I'd say that you should go with the HD 5850 along with the Corsair 650TX.

Thats only because they're currently out of stock, nothing wrong with the 5850.
I think 5850 is a better deal at the moment.

Last week there was a rumor going around that AMD intended to raise prices on the 5800 series. At the time we wrote this off as yet another highly-speculative rumor based on shaky evidence. Official price hikes are virtually unprecedented, after all.

The Sapphire version of the 5870 was available for a short time yesterday on newegg, at $379. You hafta be diligent and willing to check religiously I'm sure you can come up with either the 5870 or 5850 eventually.

Yes. The 4890 1gb (saphire toxic ^^) is a great choice, my vote still lives with the 5850 though, of course, it is difficult to find and rather expensive.
