Built a new computer, everything powers up but no display

I built a new computer today, and when I went to plug it in there was no display. I know both monitors I use work perfectly fine. I don't know much about computers so I would appreciate any help.

Part List:
  • Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
  • EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
  • LG UH12NS29 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer
  • Seagate FireCuda Gaming SSHD 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive ST1000DX002
  • Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler, Black
  • NZXT Phantom 240 Mid Tower Computer Case, White

I re checked everything, after my friend said the RAM might be defective I tried to re plug it back in just in case. Turned out that the RAM sticks were not pushed in all the way and that was the problem.

Thanks for getting back to us with your solution. Glad it turned out to be a simple one.
