Burned DVD

Hi All,

Hope someone can help please!
I had a MP4 file that I converted to a mpeg file using video converter.
I then burned the file to a DVD disk.
I want to watch on my dvd player.
The file works fine and is watchable until a certain stage but then stops. I have tried with 3 different files and the same thing happens with all.
Am I doing something wrong please? Please help.

Could it be the Video Converter software that you are using that might be causing the issue? Have you tried different software that does conversions yet? How old is the DVD player that you are using? Most modern (last 5 years or so) DVD / Bluray players can play MP4 format files. Also, does your DVD player have a USB plug? If so, you can try to put the MP4 file on a USB stick and see if it will read / play that way.

I think the DVD may be messed up since it is happening with 3 different file formats. It could also be the converter software like Spykez said above. I would try another converter like Handbrake. If it still doesn't work, it means the DVD is flawed.
