Call of Duty 2

Hi Guys,
When I was running my old Windows XP I really enjoyed playing Call of Duty 2 on it.
Now that my old XP died, I am running a PC with Windows 7.
Is there any way to keep playing it? Do I have to through the game in the garbage?
The DVD Disk says only compatible with Windows XP and Windows 2000
Any solutions?

Right click on the game icon on your desktop or game .exe file. Click on Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab.

I've played COD2 on Win7 fine, by the way.

St1ckM4n, makes a good point. Try running the game as is under Windows 7. If you have problems, you can change the compatibility mode.

I also found the DVD version wasn't the latest version, try patching to 1.3, download link below.

I found this made a difference with the sound as I was getting weird issues with sound until I installed this patch.
